I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two weeks, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to accommodate any requests we had, even preparing dishes that were not on the menu. The rooms were clean and spacious, with air conditioning and a balcony that offered a superb view. The location was also perfect, and we were able to explore the surrounding area easily. the attention to detail and level of service provided made this stay truly enjoyable.
Everything was just perfect.

In love with Elena. The location was in front of everything we wanted to do. Best base for exploring Arbanasi...
The room was too warm.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Pointed me in the right direction to things I should see over my weekend break. They couldn't do enough for me as a single lady traveller and asked me all the time if there was anything else they could help me with.

The staff, especially Mariela, were incredibly kind and professional, and spoke excellent English. The sound isolation of the windows was impressive, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel's Italian restaurant was a highlight, serving the best spaghetti bolognese I've ever tasted.
I found everything to be satisfactory and enjoyable.

The location was great, 3 km to Veliko Tarnovo, in a small and lovely village - Arbanassi. The staff was very friendly. The room was large enough, with a huge bed. The hotel had a nice terrace, with a great view. Per total, it was nice to stay there.
The bathroom hadn`t a cabin shower, it was just the shower, like in the photos and I think all the rooms had the same bathroom. Our room hadn`t a balcony, it had only a small window. The breakfast is the same everyday, poor enough and the coffee is not included in the price (but is not expensive - 2 or 3 leva).

The location is very nice, and I also liked the hotel staff. Big bathroom, decent breakfast. Good value for money.
No central heating - the A/C was inefficient, so I was almost freezing in the room (January). I can't recommend this hotel for staying during winter. No refrigerator. Dirty carpet on the floor, but otherwise the room was clean.

We had a wonderful stay with amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel is clean with big rooms and great facilities including AC and a beautiful balcony with a stunning view. The breakfast was delicious and the staff spoke English very well, making communication easy. We also appreciated the convenient parking and location near transportation, making it easy to explore the area.
Nothing bad to say.

Friendly family run business. Noise is a problem from other rooms as well as the kitchen. Lovely views with a good restaurant. Very good value. Bathrooms are wet rooms with a small window. Rooms are basic and a little worn with air con. Nice breakfast.
Noise from other rooms and the kitchen.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was cleaned every day, the towels where changed daily and the bed lingerie at 2 days. The breakfast was made for 2 persons, however it was enough for us (2 adults and a 3 years old child).Breakfast was also very diversified (we stayed 4 nights and we have in each day a different meal/combination on breakfast). The food is very good! We enjoyed very much the garden and the view over Veliko Tarnovo.
There are no mosquito net at the windows or the balcony door. This was not so pleasant especially in the evening. The water from the shower goes directly into the floor and wet everything around (no shower curtains).

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the attention to detail was impressive. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Secondly, the location was absolutely breathtaking. Situated on a hill overlooking a charming town, the views were simply stunning. Lastly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I especially loved having a balcony to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and the prices were very reasonable.
All aspects of my stay were absolutely wonderful.

This is the second time we've stayed at Hotel Elena & went back because of the friendly & helpful english speaking staff, good restaurant, close proximity to Veliko Tarnovo and an excellent view from the balcony. Our room also had a good sized wet room. We stayed for 2 weeks and were given a different breakfast variation every day, unlike other hotels where the same boring old breakfast is served every day. It's a really good base for a holiday in central Bulgaria. We'll definitely stay here again.
